Join us from 10 am onwards! We’ll be opening the camp, cleaning cabins, testing the water and getting everything ship-shape for summer! All are welcome to come and help.
Sunday, June 22, 2 pm: Juhannus (Midsummer) BBQ
All are welcome! Join us for Finnish pancakes, sauna, bonfire, and BBQ as summer officially kicks off!
This event is called “John the Baptist Day” in Finland (‘Juhannus’) and traditionally celebrates the longest day of the year: as it shows God’s gifts of sunlight, and nature.
This is a free event and open to all.
Kids Camp, July 3-6, 12 pm
We love providing a faith-based Kids Camp each year! The children will meet new friends, eat great food, discover God, swim & have so much fun! Ages 5-12 yrs. Remember we ask that 6-12 yrs plan to stay overnight as younger children do find it challenging to spend the night away from home. We understand that not all children will stay overnight, that is no problem. Some children may even have to attend a family event or sporting tournament. Give us a heads up, we want to ensure you & your family are worry free and your child has the opportunity to be part of Lifespring Kids Camp!
Around the Campfire – Beginning July 16th 2025 – August 27 2025
Dates include: July 16, July 23, July 30, August 6, August 13, August 20 & August 27
We love to sing! Each Wednesday evening you will find us gathered around a campfire, or under some cooling, beautiful shade from the trees or on those wet days, inside the Main building! This is a great time to be encouraged, sing songs to God and with one another. The children even play volleyball and we all enjoy the cooking hotdogs and marshmallows over the camp fire! Come on out!
Camp Church Service – July 27 10:00 AM
We are blessed to have a beautiful Church Camp and during the summer months we are able to host our Church Service here! It is at these Summer Church Services we are able to walk down to the waterfront and witness New Christ Follower’s be baptized in the Water! It is always a joy to celebrate with one another a person’s decision to live for Christ! A delicious lunch is included, so no one has to rush to Swiss Chalet! You are invited!
Hey Neighbour! August 9 2025
Last year, we wanted to meet & greet our fellow Island Lake Neighbours! We were delighted to meet many new friends and we even received a delicious jar of home-made jam! Thank you! We are grateful to host a Come & Go Barbecue for you! Be sure to watch for posters and be prepared to come and be good neighbours to one another!
Camp Church Service August 31st 10:00 AM
This will be the final Church Service we host at Lifespring Camp! If you haven’t been baptized yet this summer. This is your opportunity! We look forward to seeing you!
October 11th – Church Camp Winter Close-up
The Church Camp will need to prepare for winter and so October 11 will be our final day of running water, working washrooms and pulling in the water raft! Till next year!
